Music and Film Career:

Harbhajan Mann is a Punjabi singer, actor and a film producer. Harbhajan Mann made his debut as a singer in the year 1988 with Ishq De Mamle but he came into prominence after his 1992 hit album Chithiye Ne Chithiye, which was a runaway Hit. His other works during 1988-1998 included Gidha Punjabna Da (1990), Jag Jeondeyan De Mele (1994) and Vadhaiyan Jee Vadhaiyan (1996). In 1999, he released Oye-Hoye (1999) which topped the charts not just in Punjab and Punjabi Diapora abroad but throughout India. This album made him a world famous Punjabi pop star. Lala Lala Lala (2000), Nachlai (2001), Haaye Meri Billo (2001) are some of the other Hit albums to his credit immediately after his smash hit Oye Hoye (1999). Some other loved albums of Harbhajan Mann are Satrangi Peengh (2003) with his brother Gursewak Mann, Dil Dol Gaya (2005), Mauj Mastiyan (2007), Nazran Miliyan (2008), Sohniye (2008) and Vaari Vaari (2010).  Earlier, Harbhajan has collaborated with his brother Gursewak to come out with three religious albums, Panth Tere Diyan Goojan (1995), Raj Karega Khalsa (1997), Amrit Da Batta (1999).
Apart from his successful career as a singer, Mann is an extremely popular Punjabi film actor today. He along with Manmohan Singh (director) have revived Punjabi Cinema after its debacle in the 80's and 90's. He made his film debut with the All Time Blockbuster Jee Aayan Nu (2002), which was the costliest Punjabi film at that time. The director-actor combo went on to deliver four of the biggest hits of All Time in the next six years which cemented the star status of Harbhajan Mann. The four other films were Asa Nu Mann Watna Da (2004), Dil Apna Punjabi (2006), Mitti Wajaan Maardi (2007) & Mera Pind - My Home (2008). After their last film in 2008, both of them have parted ways professionally, though they remain extremely close personally. In 2009, Harbhajan Mann ventured into film production and established his production house "H&H Productions". In the same year, he produced and starred in Box Office hit film Jag Jeondeyan De Mele (2009) and average grosser, Heer Ranjha (2009). In 2011, Harbhajan Mann's Yaara O Dildaara (2011) opened to a good response at the box office but could not build up momentum hence becoming an average grosser.
