Raj Brar starring in 3 films

On one side we have superstars like Jimmy Sheirgill, Harbhajan Mann & Babbu Maan who act in one film a year and make sure that it is super successful. On the other hand, we have our very own Raj Brar who wants diversity in Punjabi Cinema by doing more than one film at one go. He wants to work as hard as he can to bring as many films as he can for his fans and well wishers. The established singer/actor/music composer/lyricist has signed not one, not two but three films at one go. Cine Punjab got in touch with Raj Brar and pooled in the maximum information about his upcoming projects.
The first film is called Nidarr which is directed by Jagtar Singh who earlier worked on a few projects with Raj Brar. Nidarr is the working title of the film and may get changed, he said. Shooting of Nidarr starts in July and he is aiming to release the film in December 2011.
The second film is a Multi-starrer where Raj Brar is sharing lead with two other new comers. The film is called Just Punjabi and would be shot in Australia. The director of the film is Enna Tiwari. On asking if the film is based on the racism issues of Indian students in Australia, he denied saying it's a fun film with the story based on college students settled in Australia. The film is expected to release in February 2012.
The third film is Mr. Jatt which would be a complete entertainer with a message and lots of comedy. Mr. Jatt is directed by Harinder Gill who earlier directed Jawani Zindabad (2010) & Channa Sachi Muchi (2010). Mr. Jatt is expected to release in Summer 2012.
Mr Jatt & Nidarr would have music by Raj Brar himself. Rest of the cast & Crew is yet to be finalized.
